Waterwork from 2015 is a public art project, a permanent 360 degree video projection on the water tower in Kristianstad. The projection highlights the shape of the tower and has a visual impact even from afar. It appears to hover 50 m above the ground. The scale of the projection is adapted to see the water's wave movements and light reflections in slow motion. The mission was to light the water tower. My proposal was instead to expand the concept, a moving lighting using the medium of film and show a context that is directly linked to the water tower as a concept. I show the very essence, what is inside the tower...outside. The result is a surreal experience of water, like an ocean in slow motion with gradual color changes on the crown of the water tower, far up in the air.
