Pin Point was inaugurated in 2014 at Fristadstorget in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The sculpture consists of polished stainless steel and has a height of 23 m
Pin Point reflects the site and the square with its fish eye reflection. It captures the surroundings in its perfect mirror surface. The sculpture takes on a surprising perspective of infinity when you stand close to it and look up. It was given a slope of 4 degrees, which gives it a diagonal direction and a particular dynamism in relation to the site. It just touches the ground plane, which gives the sculpture a lightness where it does not connect to the ground with other objects than the sculpture itself. Otherwise, I have been careful to find the right scale in relation to the square and the buildings around the square. In Pin Point there are many aspects of a multifaceted perspective.
