​The installation was shown for the first time at Galleri Mejan, Stockholm in 1993. The plaster snow machine consists of an aluminum construction with a built-in rotor that snows plaster into a circular water pond below the machine. The plaster burns (hardens) in contact with the water. The plaster hardens and is successively built on according to the principle of sedimentary rocks. It is thus a piece of nature in mini format that is built up. The machine produces unique "mountain tops" that can be lifted away completely intact and placed in other contexts.
