I made this specific site sculptural installation at the collective exhibition with artists from the Nordic countries at a disused wallpaper factory in Arvika, Sweden in 1986. The sculpture is suspended from a long spiral spring and swings through a hole in the floor/ceiling between two floors. It is set off when someone pulls it down towards the floor of the lower plane and releases it and it gains speed and disappears up to the next floor and comes back through the hole again to the lower plane. It goes up and down between the floors for a while. In the pictures, It´s the artist Robert Jäppinen playing with the work
